Join us at the gymkhana grounds on July 11! Enter up in the barrel racing, poles, stakes, keyhole, or novelty events or enjoy an afternoon watching the activities. Entries open at 10 am. Grand Entry at 12pm.

About the event
Since the late 1950's, on the second Saturday of July and August, folks from all around have been coming to participate in the Watch Lake Green Lake Gymkhana. Gymkhana, which translates to "games on horseback", is fun for all ages. Competitors from 3 years old and up attend the event each year, and it is not uncommon to hear stories of many past generations that have been a part of the action over the years. Bring your horse and enter the barrel racing, poles, stakes, keyhole, and novelty events. If you're not a seasoned cowboy or cowgirl, you can come enjoy the show and cheer on your favorite rider. The beer garden, bake sale and concession are always a welcome sight on a hot day in the Cariboo.
